Balloon Festival!

I went to a hot air balloon festival a couple of weekends ago…

Oh yea… and I’ve reached my photo limit on Flickr… time to upgrade… crap…

Oh oh yea… I know the compression is really off on some of these photos. Don’t know what the deal is with that, but I’ll figure it out later. Just enjoy the pikchas!

Couldn’t decide which edit I liked better… so I’m posting both…

Same with these ones, just couldn’t pick a favorite

And of course, the fun balloons! Nothing too creative about these, just nice photos.

Glamour photo session!!! So my co-worker Denise wanted pictures taken for her make-up business & of course, I’m always looking to shoot as much as possible. So luckily she was able to find me a model & an awesome location. We ended up shooting in a music studio in Downtown Philly. I’m pretty happy with how the photos came out & I’m not a studio lighting guy. Still have a ton to learn, and definitely humbled by the whole experience. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this set!

Some of you may know that about 4 years ago, I studied abroad in Spain for a semester (4 months!). I also brought my D-SLR along with me for the ride, and I tried to take as many pics as I possibly could while I was there since a trip like that is pretty much once in a lifetime. Well, when I got back my old laptop that had all of the photos on it was plugged in during a lightening storm, and of course lightening struck, surged right through the house & killed my laptop. I thought all of my pictures were lost forever, but I recently was able recover everything off of the hard drive & went into serious edit mode with all of the photos.

So far, I’ve edited 50 photos, but had planned to do 100 and release them 20 photos at a time here on my blog for the next 5 weeks. But instead, I’ve decided to release 10 each week for the next 5 weeks depending on the reception I get to the photos. If there is a lot of interest, and you guys are really enjoying the photos, I’ll continue to release photos until 100 photos have been posted.

Anyways, enough rambling, hope you guys enjoy!
